Leather Details – How to change from unorthodox to old guard with one simple item change:

How, when, and where you’re going to wear your leather depends on a number of factors: the type of event you’re getting dressed for and the rules governing it, your leather family (requests from a Sir, Master, or Daddy), climate / weather, the amount of leather in your possession, and your imagination. 

As an example illustrated above, I’m combining a highly unorthodox cowboy hat with a full formal leather outfit. On the other, side I’m in the same formal leather outfit but with a traditional Muir cap. 

I would argue that the kind of leather combo you wear should be your own business, but keep in mind that some leathermen might form lasting opinions about you based on your choice.
